Celebrate 10 Years of ACE in Style

The Tennis & Ties Gala will honor an inspiring group of ACE Champions – past participants, founding members, coaches, mentors and community partners. Join us for dinner and dancing as we serve up a major celebration for those who have led the ACE Movement along our journey.

  • We are celebrating ACE’s 10 year anniversary at the Lester L. Long Fieldhouse (14700 Evers, Dolton, IL 60419) within Dolton Park District.

  • Join us on Saturday, October 7th from 6-9 pm.

  • The Tennis & Ties Gala mixes the active fun of ACE’s mission with a major flair.

    First, we’ll play games on the tennis courts at our Sneaker Social with activities led by our team.

    Next, we’ll gather in the Bay Room for a family-style dinner and awards ceremony recognizing our founders, years of service, and season champions.

    Then, dessert will be served as DJ Michael Airhart lights up the dance floor.

  • This is your chance to mix active wear and formal wear as you see fit. Be sure to wear your dancing sneakers because we put the ACE in active!

  • To make this event accessible, there is a suggested donation of $50 per person, which can be made when registering. Table sponsorships are also available to help ACE cover the costs of the event, so we can continue providing high-quality programs. We appreciate your support!

Over a Decade ago…

Federal funding cuts eliminated after-school programs in District #148. Teachers, social workers, parents, and administrators banded together to find a solution. After connecting with leaders within the USTA, The Active Children Excel Project was launched to reframe Adverse Childhood Experiences and improve educational equity.
